  • Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (Cth) (where applicable).

  • Other relevant legislation and professional standards governing bookkeeping and financial services in Australia.

2. Scope of Services

We provide cloud-based bookkeeping services for Australian businesses, including:

  • Day-to-day record-keeping.

  • Payroll processing.

  • BAS preparation and lodgement (where authorised).

  • Financial reporting.

Our services do not include:

​

  • Independent financial or investment advice.

  • Legal advice.

  • Services outside the agreed scope or engagement terms.

Clients are responsible for seeking independent advice where required.

3. Client Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely financial information necessary for us to perform services.

  • Retain primary responsibility for compliance with applicable taxation and corporate obligations.

  • Keep login credentials and access details secure.

  • Notify us promptly of any errors, discrepancies, or concerns regarding your financial records.

Failure to provide accurate or timely information may affect the quality and timeliness of our services.

4. Our Obligations

We will:

  • Provide services with reasonable skill, care, and diligence.

  • Maintain confidentiality of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy of services, subject to reliance on client-provided information.

5. Payment and Billing

  • Fees for services will be set out in your engagement agreement or invoice.

  • Interest or late fees may apply for overdue accounts.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or withhold services in the event of non-payment.

6. Confidentiality and Data Handling

We take confidentiality seriously and will not disclose your information except as required by law or with your consent.

 

All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content, tools, software, and materials available on our website are owned by or licensed to us.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

  • Client-owned documents and data remain the property of the client.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • We rely on information provided by clients and accept no liability for errors, omissions, or losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete data supplied.

  • While we take care in delivering services, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website or error-free performance of third-party systems.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be lawfully excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services by giving 30 days written or verbal notice.

We may suspend or cancel services immediately if:

  • Fees remain unpaid.

  • You breach these Terms.

  • We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority.

Upon termination, you remain responsible for payment of any outstanding fees.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia in relation to any disputes arising under these Terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint regarding our services:

  1. Contact us in writing outlining your concern.

  2. We will acknowledge your complaint and work to resolve it promptly.

  3. If unresolved, the matter may be escalated to an independent mediator or relevant authority.

12. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website, with the effective date updated accordingly.
